I am really excited about this first blog post that I'm creating. You know why? Because it's the first journal post!
Obviously there are a lot of trips that have taken place prior to the publication of this terrific website and journal, however I will be mentioning those before we get into the new experiences that lay ahead of us. So our first experience ever, starts when we decided to travel across as many states possible in our mini van. You see, back then we hadn't received our full parental approval and we were still very young (in college.) So having the financial support that we have know from our parents, was more difficult back then. We had to settle for a mini van, which of course was rented and paid for by our lovely parents. We personally don't have a dollar to our name. So as soon as our parents decide to stop funding us, we are done with our experience and probably this website too. We obviously don't want that now, do we? Donate today to save the site...kidding! We would never ask you for money to sponsor our mad travels.
Back on our topic, me and Katy met when studying liberal arts in college. I know, not a very fancy or rare thing to study, but what can you do...we didn't like rocket science that much. So we both had an amazing love for travels and luxury. Many times in college, we would rent limousines and luxury vehicles and travel around town just for fun. It wasn't that our parents sponsored these expenses. We simply saved money to make these kind of expenses. So deciding on travelling all 50 states, we got in our mini van and started from Phoenix, AZ (our home.) During our first week, we would work our way down to Texas trying to stop in as many cities possible and meet as many people possible too! See, travelling for us isn't just seeing the scenery. I mean, how many cows and oil pumps can you possibly see in Texas, right? It's all about meeting people with different opinions and point of views.
During our second branch of travels, we crossed over to South Carolina and made a beautiful loop going by great states such as Mississippi, Louisiana (loved New Orleans) and Georgia. Again: we tried to stay as long as possible in as many different places as possible. Trying local recipes and foods such as that famous Louisiana fish was the pinnacle of our travels. And after a few more weeks, we headed back to Arizona.
I know, not a lot of details in this blog right? Well, it's a starting point. I just wanted to put out something to start getting you people introduced to the spirit of our posts. A lot more details about this adventure and other tips that took place will be described in upcoming posts, which you should always stay tuned to. We love you all and stay blessed!
Katy told me I needed to write something in this part of the site, so here it goes: I'm not an Author and I hate writing. But seeing the beautiful things I view in my travels, I try to take those thousand word pictures, and actually transcript them. My name is Timothy and I'm American - Israeli.
